Blackline lights fitted

I fitted some blacklines to my car yesterday, along with some pressed plates and a black M badge. They're not the best photos due to poor light, but they give you an idea.

I've included a before shot to show the subtle differences

Before:

After:

Next up is my alcantara steering wheel and N55 midpipes which will be fitted in a few weeks time

SO SEXY YOU MAKING ME WANNA SWEAR. It's funny just the other day I was thinking it would be pretty cool to have the LCI taillight tint on the newer X5s applied to the 1M n there u have it! I'm jealous I was reading up a bit on the LCI taillight thread...seems like quite a hassle to order though?

The lights are easy to get in the UK and took about a week from order to delivery

Why are they so hard to get in the States?

Not DOT (Department of Transportation) approved for the US. So you can't just walk into a local dealer and order them.

The blackline headlights look very good
Don't forged to make a soundfile or video, after you installed the N55 Midpipe

Best regards,

looks good. Maybe I'm missing something but this doesn't look like a huge difference? Someone stateside could just put a lighter tint on their tails and get the same effect?

I wonder how it would look if only the clear part was tinted and red lift alone. Looks good.

The plates are gel pressed and slightly raised. Plus they are metal rather than plastic so look much better I think.

The M badge has now been removed and I'm going to have my stock M badge sprayed over in gloss black in a few weeks time. However I am half contemplating whether just to leave it debadged as it looks a lot cleaner.

Whilst the badge is being resprayed, the wheels will be done (change in colour) the interior changed slightly, the side repeaters done in black, an N55 midpipe fitted, a BMW Carbon Spoiler and a BMW Alcantara Steering Wheel

Why have you decided to take off the new badge? All your mods are pretty much the one's I'm planning but putting off for as long as possible so that my wife doesn't beat me

I am in the UK and ordered a set from http://www.bmwpartsonline.co.uk/

They said they have another set coming in Monday and they are mine. I should have them next week!

I like that M badge--where did you get it and why change to spray paint of the original?
