need help on wheel size for an 06 e90

have an 06 e90 325xi...found this on ebay and i am very tempted to get them. just want to make sure that it fits. the offset is 38mm. and they are size 18x8.5. i wont need to do anything to my fender tips would i? also, what tire size would fit these wheels?

Yes they fit, no chance of rubbing. Go with 225/40/18 tires.

well i am getting a pretty good deal on these... the csl's are kind of expensive.... my other option is this... what do you guys think??

Other Option? There's nothing there! You are going to want to run spacers if the rear offsets are 38. So plan on another $100-$150.

Why? OEM are +34. Spacers for 4 mm? Anything +30 to +40 will be fine w/o.

Right, fine without, but if he's looking for the look of what an aftermarket wheel can do, he's gonna want to push the wheels out a little. Of course this is up to each individual.

Not necessarily, it all depends on your combination of suspension, wheel width, tire width, and offset. I would suggest doing a search of other peoples cars. See what you like as far as how the car sits on the wheels.

I think the black wheel looks better personally, I was never a fan of the ACS wheel, expecially a knockoff like the one you posted first.

+1, but i personally dont like those wheels... M6's would look much better.... but as long as you like them, then do it..
