Yes. You can choose shortest route, fastest route, avoid highways, etc..

If you are not happy with a route, you can have it re-route the first x number of miles.. (you can pick what x is)

How?... Re-route you mean avoid highways, tolls, short route, etc... right?.... Or do you mean change the short route street to another.. like if their is a detour or something

There is a way to choose another route. I did it the other day. You can pick the number of miles to go on that other route..

Some highways are pretty damn fun to drive too. We need to compile a list of fun roads to drive, and have them installed in the system..

I wish you could add way points along a route. i put in my work address so i can get rtti on the way but it always wants to take me these ridiculous ways. i thought the nav on my range rover was bad...at lease you can put a way point in to help steer you in the right direction. also, when you start guidance it gives you the choice of three route options. i think most agree that the Japanese navs are superior to the bmw model...but when land rover is better you should definitely rethink things. i'm commenting on the nav only...i actually love the rest of i-drive. very easy to use once you spend a little time with it.
