335i Vacuum Tank Line Leak
Looks like there are 2 lines that run from the bottom of the 2 vacuum tanks to a connection. That connection runs to the brake booster. The connection is actually the black hose that is suspended right in between the oil filter and the air filter. Looks like the fitting on the end of the line has deteriorated causing a vacuum leak. Has anyone replaced these?
Vacuum Tanks - Lines From Bottom Right before connection going to brake booster. The end of the hose just came off from deterioration. Schematic. Parts 5 & 6. 05 VACUUM PIPE 1 13717558227 $16.78 06 VACUUM PIPE 1 11657565963 $27.94

Yep, just replaced 2 of mine - was causing a half engine light when ever it tried to boost. Drove me crazy for months trying to figure it out. I replaced all the rubber sections on both ends of the 2 tubes that run across the fron of the engine under the engine cover.

Yeah, need to take that bracket off and clear coat it.
I just replaced part of the vac line with some vac tubing from autozone. Works fine.
