Transmission shudder when stopping on an incline and downshifting
When the vehicle's coming to a slow stop on a slight incline (facing uphill), and using the least brake, the transmission shifts from 3rd to 2nd gear with some shudder or shock (My car starts in 2nd gear in Drive, starts in 1st gear in DS mode). It's not extreme or severe but it's noticeable and annoying. What could be wrong? BTW it's a six speed automatic ZF transmission.
