I hope you masked off behind the grilles too!
Off topic: I was plasti-dipping a rear valence today and it was surprisingly easy to work with. Too bad I ran out after only 2 coats. Need to run and grab another can tomorrow to finish.

I am trying to make my car become younger !

Combination with red and white is great and sporty since many f30 owners choose black/silver rims.

Are those 19's? The white looks nice. How often are you washing them?

OP - Life would have been easier and it would have been a cleaner job if you had taken the grills out and put them back in

I beg to differ. With plasti-dip, it doesn't get easier than the route OP took.

Looks great. Did the plasti-dip cut away cleanly? I'm assuming you can't see any of the chrome on the edges? Any additional comments on how you did it would be appreciated...

Yes, It can cut away cleanly. I have tried it before as I failed first time

Plasti dip is good for newbie like me if you don't know how to take off the bumper

this looks like a good easy alternative, but taking off 8 screws and taking off the clips to the stock grills by hand took me 20 min.
