Passing a Radical on the track

And blowing a few corners badly!
I had better laps but I only passed the radical once.
I think the first driver was a noob, cause half a hour later, it blasted by me.

I really like how that track flows. Nice driving by the way.
As far as the radical goes they are a biotch to drive fast and if the tires were cold then multiply that by 5. At Sebring I pulled up on one that was missing apexes for the first 3 laps and I left him by 30 car lengths. He reeled me back in and checked out on me after that.
What tires are you on?

Awesome! What are you using to record the track data? I wish I could afford to head up to that track with the NYBMWCCA in a few months

Looks like Harry's Lap timer deluxe with a in car mount on an iPhone 4.

Op:

Great video!

Have you considered adding a Kiwi Wifi to your Harry's Lap timer for more accurate speed and throttle position info?

I have one on my WRX for autocross along with an external GPS for more accurate sampling.

Kiwi looks interesting! So far, most of my track days have been ADS, and don't allow lap timing, so I'm not sure I need more gadgets, but I do like the gadgets! Besides the Harry's lap timer, I have the Emprum GPS plugged into the 4S iphone to increase the GPS update rate from 1 Hz to 5 Hz.

The Radical holds the lap record at the 'Ring - for fastest street legal car. Although as far as it being street legal... that is a bit of a stretch. Hence why it had UK tags and not German ones!

Nothing can touch a Radical on a track with a pro driver, well nothing but an Atom maybe. This makes the OP's pass all the more sweeter I guess.

There is some of the same footage, shot with a Hero HD2 mounted on the head rest bars.

The radical is an amazing track car. Either there were two guys trading the drivers seat, and one was new to the car or track, like Dan said, tires got warm!

You might take a look at race render, you should be able to overlay your harry's lap timer data onto your go pro video with it.

Calabogie looks like a great track. The pavement seems fresh. Would love to drive there some day, but it's a bit out of the way for me!
