I need a trailer to tow my car

Hey BMW people,

Toe as in kick some km's in the ass!

Friends of mine have a track day planned for June 22 2012 in Ottawa On and I need a trailer to get my car there.

Does anyone have a personal trailer that they can loan/ rent me? Towing with a Ford Ranger

I am local Toronto. Please PM me

If you don't find one to borrow, U-haul has both dollies and car trailers for rent. A ranger would be pretty light to tow a 1M and trailer. I think the 1M weighs more without the trailer. U-haul might not rent you a dolly or trailer for a Ranger, I would check.

Might be better off putting this in the Canada forum!

Don't have a trailer but see you there on the 22nd. Why not just drive up?

U-haul is considering the ratings of the manufacturer of the vehicle as close as I can tell. If you try to tow too much weight you risk damage to the vehicle doing the towing and also risk not being able to stop. Might be better to drive unless you can borrow a bigger pickup.

I always thought the Ranger was tow rated to 3 tonnes, same as my Mountaineer.

The problem with uhaul is that their vehicle trailer alone weighs 2200 lbs.
