Carbon Cleaning at Real Auto Dynamics in Long Island - Huge Difference

I wasn't aware that carbon buildup was such an issue on N54s, until I recently saw Real Auto do a carbon cleaning on the manifold of a forum member's BMW 335i Coupe, and I couldn't believe how much crap was built up there - no different than what S4s and RS4s notoriously see. The owner of the car later told me what a huge difference the car made, brought back a lot of the power and umph it's lost over time - I got a feel for it myself later on and it's true, the car simply feels faster, no other way to put it. So I encourage all of you N54 owners to get this done if your car has more than 40K miles on it. Believe me, the results are well worth the cost.

Also, if you go sometime soon, you'll see a 1000WHP Nissan GTR the shop just pieced together and fired up for the first time on Saturday. I happened to be there, and it sounded ridiculous! It's got a 4.2L V6 stroker motor + bigger turbos transplanted in place of the OEM turbos and motor. There's a quick video of it in the link above. Sorry, I know...kinda random, I was just seriously impressed with this thing's potential and mechanics.

But yeah, carbon cleaning. Do it.

Hey guys, this was my car they did the cleaning on. Made a complete difference! I'll see if I can get some pics from that day for before/afters but my car has 96k miles on it and I've been running tunes since break-in. Car feels "young" again!!!

Cost? I am at 35k. Thinking about getting this done. Rarely go WOT, and never ran a tune though.

Thanks for coming through 2mchbst.

I cannot PM anyone a price, since I don't work at RAD. But do definitely give them a call, because when they're done with your car, it will come out spotless. To borrow 2mchbst's pics:

Before:

After:

Notice in the before pic the thick layer of gunk lining the wall of the intake port? All gone, and the ports inside are spotless too.
