12v outlets failure

So my 12v cigarette lighter outlets stopped working randomly..

I drive a 2006 330i.

I usually have my radar connected to the one next to the ash tray and my phone charger to the one in the arm rest.. (so might have been using too much power??)

I checked the fuse and it was perfectly fine... (no brown or any discoloring)

The 12v outlet by the ash tray even lights up (orange) but gives off no power.

According my fuse map ^^ my understanding is that the fuse is number 30 (correct me if I'm wrong)

Asked around and no one knows what the hell could be the problem.. sooo..

[Posted in general forums to get more eyes on my problem here, thanks]

Did you try replacing the fuse anyway? Had the same issue on the Z4 and fixed by replacing the fuse. Fuse doesn't necessarily have to look burnt.

Was a fix found for this problem as mine were not working.

I changed the 20 Amp fuse 30'and the front 12v socket ahead of the gear shift works but not the rear one, very strange....

I had the same problem, the orange light stays on even when the fuse is no good. I had the dealer replace it and now they both work fine.

They replaced a fuse but I don't know which one. I would check my service report but my car is in the shop right now. Sorry
