Folding mirrors question..
Always noticed that my passenger side mirror doesn't seem to close as much as the drivers side. Anyone else notice this? Is this normal?

I remember there used to be a lot of threads about concerns with folding mirrors a long time ago around here, and I think that since they are slightly different angles they close differently and at a different speed. Unless yours are WAY off, or feel loose, I wouldn't really worry too much. One of the threads even had a video but I can't find it.

Neither of them are loose, but if you're really looking, the passenger side isn't as folded as the other. |

I wouldn't worry about them at all then
There were a whole bunch of threads, I did a simple search too and that was the first one that came up.

I'd like to believe it's normal. I'm at 6 years of opening and closing at least once a day and have noticed that driver is faster and closer.

Yeah, I honestly didn't think the motor would last this long, but they don't make any unusual sounds, move any slower, or show any signs of slowing down. I'm probably keeping it lubricated by using it so much. Knock on wood.

They close at the same speed, but because the passenger side mirror's normal position is angled more inboard than the driver's side mirror, it appears to fold faster because it 'finishes' first. That's only because it has less distance to travel. Completely normal.

it seems like they close really tightly judging by the sound and the decreasing speed as they near their closed position, and that is what initially worried me.
