Help me decide

Hello everyone, I am new to this forum. I am looking around to buy a used 328i and found two cars which I am interested in but I am unable to decide between them. Here are the two cars that I found. Both have similar features(premium package).

1) 2009 328i - 17k miles, 7 months factory warranty remaining, $23,500 final price.

2) 2009 328i - 27k miles, 17 months factory warranty remaining + CPO, $27,350 and still open for final price negotiation.

For what price can I negotiate the 2nd one and which one do you think is a better deal after negotiating the final price.

any other packages ? sport ? navi ? 7-logic ? auto or manual ? coupe or sedan ?

Both are sedans with automatic.No sports package or nav. Just the premium package. I think the dealer mentioned something like convenience package for the second one.

I would find something else (I dislike base 3-series), but from those 2 #1 is a better deal. good price for #2 would be $24k...$24.5k max IMO

The 328i motor is so reliable I wouldn't spend the $$ on the extra warranty, the engines are like tanks. If you keep your car maintained you won't have any issues.

dont need warranty, but keep some cash handy

#2 by a long shot. The miles and cost aren't that different plus it's CPO.

Personally, I would offer anywhere between 24 and 25K, and work your way up if needed. Also, GET A PPI (3rd party inspection)!!! They'll find all of the stuff the stealership "forgot" to tell you. Well worth the 150-200 dollars.

You don't need it. They're not a complete waste of money, but it depends on how many miles you'll put on it yearly (wear and tear).
