can i get some help?
at 1, 200 miles my 335i sedan doesnt feel as fast as my friends 335i coupe.
at round 2k rpm.. if my foot is all the way on the pedal.. *not pased the click on AUTO ONLY*, the needle doesnt seem to rocket up like my friends. it slowly goes up. any input would be greatly appreciated. i see some others have the same problem but they don't know how to really approach this issue. i heard bmw engines have ull performance at round 2000 MILES. true or false? tyy! |

i'm sure he'd know if he's in limp mode.
he meant to say that he's gunning it from 2000 rpm. if i'm WOT and my car is stuck at 2k rpm. i wouldn't post on an online forum. i'd call the dealer right away. |

I think he should see a doctor and get a prescription for Viagara.

Take it to the dealer, they'll check it and give you an answer.
But the truth is you should have gotten a coupe to start with

To answer your original question....
No. You won't get any help from 99% of these folks. You will, however, get alot of smart-azz remarks. My 335 coupe has this problem. I have been PM'd by several others with this problem. I had the dealer service tech drive my car and he proclaimed the car "normal." I asked why the 2 demos I drove were so much quicker, to which he answered, "Demos get driven aggressively and so they 'learn' to be faster." I don't buy it. My wife's pushrod 3.9 Impala will kill my 335 60-foot time... guaranteed. This thing is an absolute dog. But according to my dealer service department it's "normal."
