Bumper (front) ripped off...fixable???
Hi everyone,
I am a new user and proud owner of a 2011 328 Coupe. Recently, while parking too close, my front bumper caught the car stop, and proceeded to partially rip it off when I reversed. Bumper will push back in, but will not stay as clips broke. Does anyone have a reasonable solution for fixing this? Or know anyone in the South Florida area who does this. Thanks in advance!. |

What color is your car, and how many hours of sleep did you get last night?

From dealer or ecstuning.com. Shouldn't be costly I would say. Good luck.

Or, are you wanting it fixed for nothing? If that's the case, you're SOL. |

There aren't clips they are part of the mold for the bumper and can be fixed with :
rivets/thin metal/drill any competent body shop can "re-make" the mounting points I myself have done it as well as a shop working on past cars |

There's a metal plate attached to that portion. That plate is suppose to hold that corner to prevent the bumper from getting ripped like that. Check the fender, maybe it's still attached there.

Yes, it's fixable. I did the same thing with a BMW Z4. I paid without using insurance and it was about $2000. I did have some additional paint work on the trunk (unrelated) so it's going to be maybe $600 less. Just make sure you find a good shop
