What to expect at first service

So, I'm getting my oil changed. Nothing new, but I understand I should check my miles before, put my jb4 on map 0 (they don't care about mods), ask not to wash my car (plastidipped), and not update my software (coded).

Also, my low coolant light came on... My service isn't for another 3 days, should I be concerned driving with low coolant? Should I drive another car?

Thanks,

I would be concerned. It's not worth the risk driving around with low coolant. It can cause bad damage to your engine if it overheats.

You can ask for all that, but they'll probably do all 3. Lol. My SA put a sign saying "DO NOT WASH" on the car, work order, and tag on key and they STILL WASHED IT!

you can also just buy a quart of coolant. and have some for later. since your in warranty, i feel they would top it off and give it a awash. so just say no wash.

If you need to drive the car for the next few days just keep a spare bottle with you until you bring your car in for servicing.

If you had parked on a significant grade, don't worry about it - but have the dealer check it out during your service.

Thanks,
they'll wash it regardless. I had a huge poster that ran across my windshield. somehow they translated "please do not wash this car. thanks" to "please wash this car. thanks for contributing to this sexy car by adding swirl marks" good luck mang
