Another "My 328i wasn't good enough so I bought a 335i" thread
After months of searching AutoTrader I finally found the E90 I was looking for. I was close to settling a couple times but i'm glad I waited. I went to the dealer after class "just to look" and ended up getting it. Traded 07 E92 328i with 53k miles for a 2008 E90 335i with 35k miles, for a $7k difference. Probably could've done a little better but i'm not complaining. I wouldn't call the 328i slow by any means but there's definitely a big difference in power. The e90 feels tighter for some reason too and I love the color combo . I just picked it up tonight so haven't had much time behind the wheel. Anyways, here are a couple pics from when I picked her up

Congrats. Definitely a stylish color-combo, and white certainaly has its advantages.
Somehow, it just never worked for me. I see white e90s once in a while and they always look great, but I just never got into the white... Congrats on holding out for what you wanted bro. Hard to do, but worth it in the end! |

Nice, but for me, I'd take any E92 version over the E90.
But that's me and I hope you enjoy your new ride. Congrats!

Thanks guys, I really am enjoying it. My last 4 cars have been silver with black interior so it's certainly nice to switch it up a bit. I'll probably leave it stock for a couple months before tuning it and throwing blacklines on it. And I HAVE to get rid of the run-flats, my E92 had regular tires and there's such a difference!
I do The 328i was a great car, and if I had a manual I probably would've kept it but the auto was terrible. Quote:
I haven't in the past because I was always envious of the N54 crowd and their countless mod opportunities lol but I'm sure i'll find my way over now. |
