EXPERTS HELP! F30 wheel swap

I bought the wifey a 2012 328i base model that has the 17inch standard wheels. I have a set of STAGGERD style 287 wheels (18 inch) that we really love and would like to put on. Theses rims came from the last model 335i but fit great on our 2009 328i. Can someone please tell me if there would be a problem putting these 287's on the 2012 model before I purchase new tires? thanks!

The front of the 287 wheels are the same as OEM 18 F30 wheels.
But the rears are ET39 on the 287, and ET47 on OEM staggered F30 wheels.
So the 287 will stick out 8mm more than F30 wheels on a F30.
If that will be a problem, I don't know, but I assume not.

Thanks for the reply. As long as the wheels will bolt up I can deal with the extra width in the back. thanks again!

It will be aggressive on the rear but it should not stick out at all. Should be good to go. I've done 19x9.5 40 et and also test out 20x10 43et

ok thanks guys. also looking into the 401 19" rims. I dont imagine they would have a problem either on a 328i. thanks!

Bringing this back from the dead. I doubt OP is still on here but would love to see pics of Style 287's on F30's. I plan on going this route as well.
