question about angel eyes

Hi

I am looking to buy a angel eye kit but i was wondering on top of the angel eye kit do i need a hid kit for the headlight?

I am buying a hid kit for the fog lights when i get the angel eye kit just need to know if i need to buy 2 hid kits.

thanks!

Do you have a sedan or coupe. If it's a sedan, do you have xenon headlights? We need to know this first.

If you look at your headlights and the outer headlight has a small round bubbly/dark looking light in the middle, you have xenons. Also it will say xenon on ther outer edge...I think...it does on the coupes so I would assume it would on the sedans.

How much money can you spend? I had city visions, two different sets of lux. While they're light years better than stock...OSS/LS3/Umitza are are on the other side of the universe better than those. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra $$$ and get of the latter. Best mod you can do to this car....

We will be releasing our LUX E90 V5.2 angel eyes within the next week or so and they will be much brighter then our previous version. We expect them to be the brightest on the market!

You should really at least think about these. I've doen exactly what you're doing and trust me...if you could only see these in person...you wouldn't hesitate. I guess if you just can't go through the hastle of the install...then Lux is the way to go...but these cost the same if you do the install yourself....and even if you get someone to do it for you...it doesn't end up costing that much more....full LED is the way to go..

Those look amazing... pricey but amazing... install generally wont be a problem i have a few family members who do body work and mechanics so if i couldn't figure it out they would. I'd have to think about this one. M-Techs are very reasonable price but i'm doing some research on the comparing them.

I like how the umnitza one's look in the day time... that's prob the best one's ive seen since i been searching... thanks for that link!

Umnitza are the same as OSS. It's just a pain to take the bumper off/get the headlight assembly out/pry it apart/mount these in there and then putting it all back together again. I watched a shop do it....it didn't look hard...just time consuming and a little nerve racking.

But holy shit...once it's done...you will be one happy person. They are full bright at ALL times of the day and look amazing. People will be staring at you a lot though, lol...

if you have family that can do this for you i would urge you go spend the extra money and get these. these look amazing when you install them, i have the mtech v2's and they look sick at night but during the day they dont come close to how a full LED headlight setup looks. Plus, since youre opening up your headlights you can remove the amber piece, black out your headlights and get a custom setup. at the end of the day, youll be saving a ton of money on labor and you will have a legit headlight set up.

do it right or do it twice!
