Anyone else entered the drawing for tickets to this year's Canadian open sponsored by BMW? With seats at the 13th hole VIP suites.

Just got a call today that I got tickets for Friday 27th.
Unfortunate that its not for Sunday.

Anyone else going on Friday?

I got tickets as well...do you know what the schedule is like? It mentioned breakfast and lunch is provided.

I got the tickets to last year's open at Hamilton G&CC

Did they have another draw for this year's open at Glen Abbey? Didn't notice any emails promo for that.

If its anything like last year, round 1&2(Thur/Fri) the day usually starts at 7am, and will end around 6pm.
You are free to come and go as you like. BMW had designated parking area, and they had shuttle cars driving you to the course.
Last year, the seats were on the 13th hole, and there were a grandstand area with covered seating(very nice on a hot afternoon).
Breakfast will be served from 7 to around 9(just usual continental bfast). Lunch was around 11:30-1:30ish....Drinks were served all day long.

in the afternoon, they had a rep from Glen Fiddich(sp?) pour 3 types of single malt, 10, 15, 18 years...
Overall very nice event.

Opps, my bad! I didn't notice the date was 2012. :P Yes, they did have another contest type thing to win tickets. You were also spot on with what the schedule was like and how the event was handled!

They had a BMW only lot at Sheridan with BMW shuttle 'buses' (X5s and 5 series) that would take people back and forth from the lot to Glen Abbey. The BMW Skybox was on the 15th hole...breakfast and lunch were served and left out until the food was gone...then some snacks throughout the afternoon. Open bar and there was a Glenlivet tasting booth set up for a while for tastings in the afternoon.

They also brought in a PGA pro (can't remember his name) and the Canadian Open cup trophy for pictures. At the end of the day, they gave away some BMW merchandise in a gift bag to each guest (leather golf shoe bag and cap)..

Checked it out. Looks pretty nice but I'm still not a huge fan of the front bumper tho.
