help with color codes
Hey--
Sorry to bother you guys. I have a 2010 328i cpe with the gray actual leather interior. There is aspot that I need to redye and I have ordered from Magicmender two different times and still not matched the color. Can anyone tell me what the color code is for the gray dakota leather in this year? thanks |

So, BMW doesn't use actual numerical codes for their leather upholstery, but rather an alpha-numeric code, so I'm not exactly sure what the numerical codes at Magicmender.com represent, unless it's a color code within their own system. But for your year and model, there were only 2 different gray leather interiors available. Here they are along with the actual BMW color code (maybe you can give this to magicmender to find out what code it corresponds to in their system)
LCAD Gray Dakota Leather LCD2 Jade Gray Leather (this is a really light gray, almost off white) You can figure out which you have by looking at your dash and door panels. If you just have the Standard Gray, the lower part of your dash will be gray as well as you entire door panels. If your dashboard is completely black, and parts of your door panels are black then you have Jade Gray. I attached a copy of the vehicle ordering guide for your year and model which includes all of the color and option codes available. Also, to be sure, you can go to this website and put in the last 7 digits of you VIN to get all the information, options, and codes your particular car has.http://www.rubmw.ru/vincode/eng/
