Post Do You Ever Get This Feeling?

is it just me or whenever a m3 passes by you get a feeling in your 335i like damn, i wish got an m3 instead or i would look better in that, just admiring it. just a though as i am bored at work lol.

personally at first m3 was my choice. dealer had a black m3 with aluminum trim, on cinamon, navy, cold, prem, and sport. PERFECT and was hard to find too as i was looking last december when productions ended. so i got this at the dealer and then i saw a 335i that just arrived in the lot. i was like damn that looks fine. test drove it, etc and signed off on it.

i enjoyed the car and still do. but everytime an m3 passes by im like damn i could have got that. something about the m3 that is sooo damn (i don't got the word). but you look at it fron the rear and the side, the front and instantly you know its an m3 and then comes the feeling of the 6speed clutch and wow.

i know i am only 18 and 335i is more then enough and i shouldn't brag but just a thought. can't wait for the new m3. it is much closer then anticipated. http://rs6.com/forum/showthread.php?t=12505

It's you. If you have the M3, you will feel the same way when a Prosche GT3 drives by.

If you have the GT3, you will feel the same way when a Ferrari drives by, so on and so forth...

The 335 is quite common now, as another member put it "Honda Civic of the OC"

Yea the E46 M3 has alot of presence, kinda like a hot girl when she enters the room. You just cant help but to admire the presence...

I cant wait till the new M3 comes out...the anticipation is killing me.

not saying i don't love my car. i just wanted to share my expression about the m3. just bored at work got time on my hands and what better thing to do then post something on e90.

the 328, etc all look like the 335i with the same taillights, etc minus the mufflers. just something about the m3 that is still eye capturing and special on the road.

Im sorry but I think the e90 coupe looks fugly in m3 form. The back end looks too long and the thin little trunk lip makes the decrease behind it look funny.

I would have picked up an M3 over the 335i if the insurance and maintenance were not a factor.

I see so many 335i's on a daily basis now that I don't pay attention to it unless it's somewhat modified.

I still love my car, I don't give a shit.

There's always a faster, better, & more expensive car. Stop measuring yourself up to everyone, it's your insecurity.

No matter what, there is always something special about an "M" car. But there is always something newer/faster/nicer than whatever you're driving if you look at it like that. Just be happy with what you've got.

Nice little setup there, altho i would go w/o the wing. Even though its GTR styled i think the car's bodylines and contour looks so much more flush w/o wings and spoilers.

I know you mean E92. FWIW, I think the E92 328/335 looks beautiful now, but the E92 M3 looks f-ing hawt.

As for the E90 M3, I don't like its looks as much as the E92 M3, but I suspect it will grow on me.

The E46 M3 has always been a looker.

I hear ya......I bought my 335i coupe new over a used E46 M3, and sometimes I regret it, so much that I have thought about nselling my new E92 335i when it comes in (collateral exchange) and get a used E46 M3. But my car does hall ass, is very nice, great brakes, great radio and still can cruise on the highway at 80 while getting 500 miles to the tank on all an highway cruise. I know if I got the M3, some days I might get tired of my ass getting beat up, and only getting 250 miles to the tank, maybe 300 on the highway if I baby her. SO since I can only afford one car right now, I went with the 335i coupe. As soon as I can afford two, I am getting a used e46 M3 (no not a new one, you can keep that) and get a 5-series as my everyday car.

I went into the dealership to look into buying an E46 M3. A test drive and further research convinced me to get a brand new 335i instead. I have no buyer's remorse. I would also have no remorse about seeing an E92 M3 because I know it costs much more. Life is about checks and balances. You have to find a point where you're just content in what you have.

You are 18 years old, you really need to get a grip IMO. Like you said, you're lucky.
