328Xi tire selection

Well I am looking at getting some different tires and wheels for my car and I'm debating on the type of tire I should be interested in. I live in Omaha, NE and we get some good snow here, hence the reason for the all wheel drive vehicle. However, I really like what I have read about the General Exclaim UHP tires. My question then is should I worry about tire selection since I have the XI model or do I still need all season tires.

My other alternative is to use my old rims with my old runflats during the winter.

Best to have a set for summer and a set for winter. Make sure you use the correct tire size for your wheels.

my e92, I have a 328xi E92, and i thought the all season tires that mine came with were fine for the new england winter. FWIW my car has zsp, but I went with the 17' wheels instead. I just got new summer tires, so these will be my winter tires again this year.

My Contis (stock 17" on 328xi sport) are great in the snow. I took them skiing a number of times, once through a blizzard, with no problems.
