Just Took the 335 To the Dyno! Stock vs TT!

First of all, the main reason that I'm posting this is to show the difference between tuners and stock on the same dyno--not to compare to others who have dynod there car somewhere else. Some dynos read higher and some read lower. You can't take a dyno from one place and compare it to the other. This is one of the reasons why I wanted to conduct the tests with different tuners on the same dyno because it seems like there has been a lot of comparing from dynos all over the place.

I've been looking for a procede for a while so I can compare the TT to it. I was hoping to find a procede that I could borrow for the runs, but I didn't find anyone. (I'm still working on getting one)
I wanted to test them all the same day, but let's face it--I got excited and I wanted to se my baseline numbers.

Since I had the TT with me, I threw that on after the stock 3 runs and ran 3 more with the TT.

So, the first graph is stock except for the magnaflow exhaust and deleted cats.
The second is with the TT added.
The Third is the best run of each graph.

Once I get my hands on the Exede and Procede, then I will do the same thing with them to get a completely objective point of view.

I offered to lend you my Xede but didnt hear from you... stock numbers are pretty good. One thing I noticed is the point where HP crosses Torq. Its usually around 5500rpm but on your graphs its closer to 4500rpms??

Any idea why this is?

I don't know about the rpms, but everything was wroking fine (I think)

About the Xede--YES, I still want to borrow it. I was just waiting to contact you once I got the procede.
Thanks and I'll keep in touch.

I don't get it. Are you saying that it is off scale or not?

OK, I see. They are equal in scale in the first 2 but not the 3rd.
Thanks.

Lightbulb

I am curious what the temperature was in the Dyno room? Did the Dynojet record that? It usually does. Obviously your dyno number is much lower than we have seen on Dynojets.

Here is the run done by European car magazine on a dynojet. WE also have others as well that show much higher than the one you got.

Thanks,

Jeff

What's really going to be interesting is to see how these cars run with our new Plasma Coil packs coming very soon. The super voltage and high amperage discharge should liven up all of the tuning options out there.

The conditions with the best TT run was the following:
89.85 degrees
29.95 in-Hg,
Humidity 26%

Again, I don't want to compare my dyno to yours. I don't care if they are both dynojets. They are different dynojets.

Not suggesting you should I was just curious to see what the temps were. If the under hood temperatures get pretty hot the TT backs off power as a safety measure. So it could be that there was some boost reduction going on. But either way your 1/8 times were very good

Yep, that's what it comes down to is the quickness.
Maybe you're right because if you wnat to compare, my stock is higher than yours and your TT is higher than mine.

Jeff, Do you have an ETA for dyno results with this product? I predict 6000-7000 RPM will have the biggest improvement in HP.

I have no idea, but that's one of the reasons that I'm dynoing myself so I can get a completely objective point of view.
If it's true that the TT needs to adapt then it will show when I dyno it again once I get the Procede.

If you look at the first run with the TT then you will see that it hasn't really adapted yet, but once teh 3rd run was made, I think that it had full adapted.

They're actually pretty good for those that want the easy installation.
Once the hood was open, it seriously took me no more than 20 seconds to install it.
