Amazing Drive but... proper tire pressure?

2012 328i Luxury Line with continental tires contisportcontact 5 "225/45/R18". It really feels stiff on the road, I don't know if its the suspension or the tires but if it is the tires please tell me what is the perfect pressure, the tires now are on 40 tire pressure should I change it to 35 or what is the best tire pressure?

When I was last in Saudi Arabia the heat killed everything. Honestly just keep the pressure around 35 and you'll be ok.

Or get bigger tires...now that really makes a big difference..

You probably have RF tires. Try regular non RF tires. It should make a big difference.

I totally agree!

I currently have 20" Stance SC5 wheels on my Goodyear Eagle F1 tires and the ride is awesome! Personally the concept behind RFT's is pretty cool but it does affect ride quality...

I have a Sportsline F30 that also had Conti RFTs. Put 700 km on them, hoping that they would feel better after some breaking in, but they were still as harsh. Couldn't bear the thought of spending the next 3 years with them, especially as they'll harden over time in the heat of Singapore's weather. So I've changed them to Michelin Pilot Super Sports, which are much better (ride and "feel")!

I have the Conti RFTs on my Sport Line but I like them. Definitely not as harsh as my e90.
