First time seeing the offset for the M6 wheels, surprised that the rears have that low offset, too low for the F10.

Front alloy wheels: 20x9.5" ET31
Rear alloy wheels: 20x10" ET19 That's the correct spec - for the rear will they fit to F10 ? No. at least not properly. |

but that looks weird to me since the M6 official specs says 19x9.5 + 10.5x19, so I really doubt the 20s are narrower. And just by looking at pics, the tires on the M6 look more stretched than on the M5.

just from a numeric calculation..
The rears are too low of an offset... The fronts should clear the fender, but Im not sure if there is another room on the inside fender or at full lock.

I think ET 35 is the absolute lowest you can go with 10,5 inch rim.
I got my BBS CH-R 20X10,5 ET35 and it looked great on my car, but sadly BBS had sent me the other rear wheel with ET24 and it was about 2 cm outside the wheelarch. So still waiting for my correct rear wheel. Hopefully i'll get it this week Both the M5 and M6 are 30-35mm wider than the original F10 witch leaves more room in the wheelarches. About the 343M wheels: (Cut from www.schmiedmann.no) Front wheel - 20" M-Doppelspeiche 343 smedet fælge 9X20 (original BMW) 9X20 ET34 Rear wheel - 20" M-Doppelspeiche 343 smedet fælge 10X20 (original BMW) (passer kun bag) 10X20 ET34 These are for the M5 and will fit the F10 Last edited by TF_F10-520d; 07-31-2012 at 10:12 AM.. |
