I don't know about the 335 but I am definitely waiting to see what BMW North America is going to provide in the next 2 years in the 3 series department. I would prefer that BMWNA send over the M sport package 3 series, but unfortunately that seems extremely unlikely. I receive my December Roundel magazine yesterday and they inferred that BMWNA is not going to ship over the M package 3 for reasons I do not understand. I would love to have an E90 that is comparable to an E46 performance package!!!!
I would definitely welcome a 335 as long as it is naturally aspirated. I think BMW is going to have to do something, in order to keep numbers (not necessarily quality or performance) with competitors. |

I guess I'm the first one to say that I am waiting. Probably has to do with the fact the resale on current ride sucks so bad. Actually, I am waiting for my promotion, which should be in a year or a little. Nicely timed.

I'm waiting on my 330i. Found out yesterday will be week 46 build - thought it was going to be week 44. I sold my M3 and am going through BMW withdrawals at present. But I am on the list for the e90 M3 if I decide to take the plunge later.

Not waiting, but it's part of the reason I took a 2 year lease rather than buying my E-90.
I'll probably be getting either an E-92 coupe or Z4 coupe in two years, so I'm very interested in the details on both. I'm not real thrilled with the idea of a V8 M3, so the 335 may fit me very well. |

And no, the 335 will be turbocharged. Prototypes have been seen with intercoolers and boost gauges. Most sources say it will be a sequential twin-turbo with a 7000rpm redline and virtually no turbo lag. I was against it at first, but now I think about it, why not? BMW introduced turbocharging technology to mass production after all. |

There is always something new and better. To wait or not to wait and how long you are going to wait is a personal thing. The next Z4/3.0 will have a 261 hp engine in it. Does it mean 330i will have that same HP upgrade too in the 2006 mid-year or 2007? If the upgrade is availalbe in the mid-year of 2006, then I will wait, else I am going to order mine in December,2005.

According to the posts so far, I guess no one is waiting. If BMWNA is watching, they're probably thinking correctly, no hurry to bring out the M3.
I am waiting for the Performance Package option. |

hoping to see what's out there when my lease is up in June 2006. I'm leaning towards a coupe, and if it doesn't show up until fall 2007. I might as well extend my lease a few months.

I am waiting for the 335i. Desperately waiting. If I had the patience, I would hold off for the 335d. I really want a 335iT, and I want it to be available for pickup via ED by the end of next summer (2006). The only other option is Hari kari.

I'd LIKE to wait for the 335...but when is it even coming out? I'm planning on getting my e90 next summer. If the 335 is just around that time, I can wait a few months, but I'm certainly not waiting any longer than that.
I'd be perfectly happy with the 330i...just as long as the 335 doesn't come out a month later. |

I really wanted a coupe when I got the car, but was not going to get an old school E46. I'll keep this one a while, then trade it in on a 335 coupe.
