hey guys,
do you think the e92 or the e93 will come with the black trim around the windows instead of the current chrome one...? possibly with the m package?

i mean, the e46 originally came with the chrome too but then they came out with the black trim when you got the sport package or m package, i forgot which one!

so any word on this for the e92/e93?

Damn, didn't know that. Kind of glad i'm out here in Germany at the moment. Even though my car is US spec I can get all their options..

i now see that the european m packages come with the black trim around the windows,
so im sure once NA gets the M pacakage, we too will have the black trim around the windows!!

My car with high gloss shadow line trim and also the trim around mirrors is the same shinny black too.

sad but true, they usually do that to spice up the sale, this is how it goes.

start of a model cycle: wohoo, everyone's buying
mid cycle: slows down a bit, so they do a facelift, a bit of chin tuck here and there to liven up the look
end cycle: need to drive up the sales number, let's throw in some packages
