aero lip $89 on ebay VS. mod bargains $345

has anyone seen or purchased a front aero lip off ebay for $89 w free shipping... mod bargains wants $345 plus $90 to ship..... i'm worried about the quality from ebay although it says there both made out of the same material.... any feedback would be much appreciated

Welcome to the forums. I'll say it before you get flamed for not searching, as this topic has been discussed about a million times, but

As for the differences between oem and rep, oem has perfect fitment and finish while the ebay lip may be slightly off. I would recommend going oem and also going with Tischer (GetBMWParts.com)

I got the ebay one. Came quite deformed to my front door. Using a heat gun i molded back to how its supposed to look more or less and paid a local shop $250 to paint and attach it to the car. IMO, looks great and I wouldnt have done it any other way.

It will look like crap. Will never fit right. It will never meet all the lines and seams correctly.

I have oem. People have no clue it's a lip cause it fits right. period.
Get the one that fits right the first time.

Exactly, i bought an ebay one and the front looked like it was sagging... ended up buying an OEM one and getting it painted again. Go OEM

i got it.. no problems with mine. fit perfectly.. i guess it's a 50/50 shot

OEM FTW... i bought the ebay one and fits alright but doesnt look good also needs body work bc has small dents in front part...trying to look for oem one now
