i-Drive + Android
I saw some amazing demos on what iDrive can do(I also hope these features are standard) but they mention Apple products almost exclusively.
Are there Android users who can comment on the cars ability to demo these same features? I have a Motorola Razr and will not be changing phones lol.

I have the droid razr maxx as well. Only thing it can do, other than being able to access your phone book and make calls like on the old idrive, is stream your audio. My girl has an Iphone4 and when it syncs up with Bluetooth it can stream her audio too, but it also accesses her music and you can change songs and download them to the car. The droid displays the song and stuff but you cant go through your playlists on the idrive. Maybe its the way that the droid puts the files into folders? But if I want to change the song I have to do it on the phone itself. Also it doesn't recognize it as a mass storage device when you plug it in using the USB. Pluging it in offers no features except charging it. Pretty disapointing, she also has the app to unlock the car and send her google search to the car. I LOVE my Razr, but I might be jumping over to the Iphone.

Look for the Send to Car app on the Market, that should let you send your GoogleMaps search to your car.

Look for "My BMW Remote" in the Google Play market. Still waiting for my car so can't test it, but it seems to have pretty much the same functionality as the Apple version.

I tried to download it, and it said that its not available in my country (USA). So it looks like its supported over in the UK but not here in the states.
