How often do you get asked to race?

Yesterday, I was on my way home from the PGA tournament and 3 miles from my house, I was stuck in traffic on the 2 lane main road bumper to bumper crawling. So some idiot that I don't know from my high school, yeah im 16, is behind me in his old beat-up, piece of chit f150 sidestep that was covered in mud with a CB antenna and mudgrips is behind me in the traffic. While he's behind me, he decides to turn on his PA loud speaker on his truck and tried to talk to me then he started talking shit about my car how it sucks and his is better. So after that, he started harassing me about the car, then was right on my ass when we started moving and would floor it then slam on the brakes, then he cut someone off and pulled up next to me. He asked me to race and I gladly said f**k off you prepneck- "rich kids that want to be rednecks and have shotgun racks, lifted trucks, CB radio, Mudgrips, Flowmasters". So then his buddy pulled up next to him in his ford ranger, again, covered in mud also and they stopped and held up the traffic to talk, and as I got into the turning lane into my neighborhood, They raced in the middle of god damn traffic and almost hit the person in front of them. F**king morons. I tried to get their plates but couldn't get them fast enough. How often do you get asked to race?

People don't ask me flat out to race sometimes a sti or riced out civic sees me gun it at the light and they assume I want to race...then all

Well none of my friends have cars nicer than mine (all junkers) so they're pretty damn scared... They know better

Not too often. Fast cars are pretty rare here and it's even rarer to get one at a stoplight. But I race everyone anyway. Well....I just floor it and use manual mode every time I'm at a light and they disappear in my rearview.

had a DSM follow me for 20 miles to try and get me to race. Wasn't having it.

I've only ever had one person try to race me and it was an STi at a stoplight. Back then i didn't know how to launch and he launched so it wasn't really a race... Other than that i'll often "race" my friends for fun when it's safe and there's enough space/the road is empty. One has a modded STi and the other has a modded b6 S4

I've been out of high school for a long time so my "street racing" days are long over

There are a few people I work with with modded cars (all Infinitis, oddly) who try to bench race me. I've offered to meet them at the track so I can settle it for them but so far no takers

Wonder why...? Lol

I will occasionally be followed by a ricer but I don't waste my premium gas or perfect driving record on Hondas.

When I had my V only a few months ago, any car that thought it has any kind of speed would try to bait me. Now I have had a BMW "Ultimate Driving something or other" and not a single test against me. I dont get it. Was it the V8 Supercharged badge on the side that screams race me?

+1 This, probably the worst streets I have ever encountered outside of Manhattan. The DVP at night though is fun but full of cops.

I live in Alaska. So you can imagine the amount of STI's and Evo's here. And oddly enough all of them here are slightly modded. Catback.. intake.. stage 1.. etc. If only i had a 335...
