DTC and DSC Error after Flat Tire.

Good news everyone;

Well, as of today I have rear tires on the ol' 328. A few nights ago I was surfing to find rear tires. The next morning I get an e-mail from Amazon saying that my new tires have shipped???!!!
Wait I ordered tires?? When.
Well I now have 2 BFG Sport Comp 2's on. Now other problems.

When the tire failed last week the DTC and DSC fail messages popped up.
Does anyone have any thought as to what could have caused the messages to pop up at the exact same time as the tire failing?

Thanks.

Yes. I did. Although I don't remember doing so.
I know I'm getting old(54) but, wow.

Do you have run-flat or conventional tires? In any event, if the tire failed badly enough to significantly lower the overall rotating diameter at speed (worst case would be rolling on your rim) it would appear one wheel was spinning faster than the rest, and I believe this could have caused DSC/DTC to turn themselves off.
