Cheap RFTs: Bridgestone Potenza's
I have switched all my 4 RFT's after 12K miles on them after one of the rear tires got punctured. They are taking up too much space in my garage and I have no intentions of going back to them. I will mail it anyone who can pay me $500.00 (+shipping) for all four tires; OBO.

They might not be worn out if he babied them... Only one has a puncture, and that's repairable... And there's bound to be somebody looking for some used RFTs around here... OK, so yes, he's in the wrong subforum...you get points there.

No. Which is why I get tired of reading posts of people bitching that their tires are noisy at 20k miles. The RFT's are supposed to last ~14k/miles hence reason why treadwear number is 140.

Exactly. I have 13k on mine and they are only about a 1/4 worn if that. I have plenty of miles left on them.

As long as they aren't horribly worn. Maybe someone who is trading in their vehicle soon can replace theirs with these. For instance someone who has 40k miles or so these would be great to replace with.

I would ask for some close-up pics of the tread before buying it...

Check my ad out. I have 4 Bridgestone Potenza with only 1,000 miles on them (basicly new). My ad including pics is in the tires and wheels section under marketplace.

Agree, tread wear should go 25K but at about 14K the noise level increases SIGNIFICANTLY !!

So these RFTs are repairable if there is still good tread on it? I've read that it is not repairable, which didn't make sense to me from the beginning... having to spend $400 for a nail through a tire is insane.
