anyone know how to deactivate the DRL?

I am wondering is that possible to deactivate the daytime running light w/out bring it in to dealer to reprogram? It's for xenon light. Thanks for all information.

Currently on pre-September cars you have to go to dealer to have them deactivated

if september production or later, and no-drive, it's all in the manual. You can change the setting through the on board computer (Turn signal stalk). READ THE MANUAL.

Just had the software update, and am not likeing the DRL. Can anyone help me with on how to deactivate the DRL?

See above - if you have I-drive its easy and in the user vehicle settings.

If not, read the MANUAL!

i have i-drive but pre-sept build...do i still have to go to the dealer? i have tried and read the manual and its no there...i cant even change the level of the headlights like some people say you can.....

I guess it's only post-update cars, but my non I-drive e90 built mid Sept. has an option to turn off the DRLs in the menu where the other options are on the stalk, i.e return seat to position upon unlocking the car, setting the number of seconds the headlights stay on, locking all doors or only driver, etc.

after update the software, no problem to turn it on and off now. thx.

I dont have I-drive, but I cant find how to deactivate it in the manual. It talks about it, but cant find instructions.
