Bought the car as a cpo for 100k miles plus I bought the matainence package up to 100k miles. It's an 08 335i w/ 37k miles.
Just curious if this is covered. 1.) My lumbar support and side bolster buttons are not working. 2.) Missing piece to the back passenger console. I bought it 3 days ago. |

You might want to seek a refund on the maintenance package -- unless you plan on driving a ton of miles in a hurry, it won't be worth your while. You are paying more for the package than you would for the maintenance, even at the same dealer.

purchased it myself and I regret it now since I barely drive it and do everything myself.

I don't believe the CPO covers any of that stuff, HOWEVER, let's use common sense--if you just got the car, the dealership should be willing to take care of it. What I mean is common sense is that you can't possibly look the car over with a microscope when you get it, but certain things shouldn't be missing or broken...g/l.

CPO covers none of that...If you have original warranty it will defintly cover the seat but a lost piece on the console they may or may not cover that...depends on if you have a good relationship with your SA. I dont see why bmw would cover a missing piece thats clearly lost due to someones negligence. I would ditch the maintenance package also. Most expensive things are brakes and those arent that bad at an indy or if you DIY. You definlty arent coming out ahead with the maintenance package.

How do you even buy a car and not tell them to fix the issues before you even hand over your money is beyond me...When I bought my CPO, I made a 100 point inspection of everything! lol What ever was not working, I told them to fix it before i pick it up or else the day I pick it up, I wont sign for it and buy it

1) DONT ask us. This is the internet answers are proabably wrong
2) Call your dealer. Give them the business on why that piece is missing. 3) the electrical in the seat is probably covered.

Electrical yes 100% with the extended maint you paid for. I'd take it to the dealer regarding the missing piece in the back. Explain what happened and how long you've had the car and they should be willing to help you out. I purchased mine and a very short time later I noticed the roof rack insert (painted plastic piece that cover's the slots where a roof rack would go) was coming loose. I'd push it back down and one day i noticed it was just gone. As if wind got under it and it broke off when driving. Long story short I drove it to the dealer and they got me a new one for free.
