Seat Question
Can I change out a sport seat bottom for a non-sport bottom on my E93? For orthopaedic reasons, I need to make a change. Looking at parts diagrams, it appears that both seats use the same frame, but the sport seat frame includes the portion that pulls out for thigh support. I'm wondering if I can buy the parts (including upholstery) and make the change. Thanks.

That will cost you... Those seats are pretty expensive! Or do you have some ready?

taking the seats apart is probably more trouble than it is worth, just swap the entire seat out for non-sports.

I don't have, I was just wondering if it could be done if I decide later. I just got my first BMW about a week ago and exploring options. I did see a set on E-bay for like $850.00.
