IForged Valve Stem, WTF?

So I bought a set of IForged Emotions from a very reputable seller but when I tried to install them they wont fit because the valve stem is way inside the wheel. Nevermind that the location makes it impossible to check pressure/add air without removing the wheel, but even more of a drag is that the front wheels wont fit because the valve stem hits the front brake caliper of my e90 335i. Anyone familiar with IForged or wheels in general know if there is a way for me to make it work?

Thanks, Kevin

I have the Senekas from IFORGE. You need to get shorter valve stems and use straps to hold the tire sensors. And you are right it is a pain to check tire pressure but I got a long tire pressure gauge and it was not that bad. Also use a tire pump with an extension

Iforged has there own TPM. If your dealer you purchased from was this reputable, they should have known about this and had them installed for you. Contact Iforged and ask them about their TPM's.

Thanks for the replies. I think my first post may not have been clear though. I dont think it has anything to do with TPM since I have an e90 that monitors rotation. It is just that the valve stems themselves are bumping the calipers. Im going tomorrow to a tire and wheel shop to see if the current stems can be replaced with shorter/different valve stems.

removing the cap wasnt enough? just get some stubby valve stem. that should take car of it. like these? i got the pics from ebay. i think they should work even though these are for motorcylce wheels.

You are correct, you do not need a TPM on an E90...I just put a set on my car as well. I went to several tire dealers in the area for short valve stems and all of them ended up hitting the brakes. So I just ended up calling up I-forged and they sent me a set for $10.

What's up Long, No, they still hit. Thanks for the help though.

Thanks for the heads up. Damn, I am just getting ready to go to the tire shop but it sounds like it might be a waste of time. Maybe I should just order them from I-Forged.

You know you didn't need to use a strap kit with your rims. All you needed to do was call up iforge and they will give you shorter metal valve stems with an adapter at the bottom that holds the tpms sensors.
