OEM CSLS on e92

Is it possible to have OEM CSLs on an e92 335i with no rubbing issues? i would like to run them as flush as possible to the arch and as low as possible.

It will be an MSport as well so cud i get some H&R lowering springs for it to drop this further..and not rub? i dont really wanna roll the arches for the risk of paint cracking etc..

thanx for the replies. what would be the optimum offset i need to look for when i want maximum concavity then? i hope to put 9.5 inches on the back. if i dont go for the CSLs (as i dont really want replicas) i will have to go with BBS CHs, but these are quite offset and width dependent for cocavity is that right? if you could help me out with CH offsets that would be great also so i wouldnt need to put spacers on etc to bring it flush with the arch as much as possible

OEM CSLs do not fit the E90 or E92. The rears will fit...although you may need to roll fenders as Eric has said above. However the fronts have too much aggressive offset. You will have to run spacers in the front...

Not all replicas are created equal.

Take a look at the MORR Alloy VS7s. They will look very much like the CSLs, have the concavity you want and be forged (superior manufacturing process compared to cast alloy wheels) and will fit the E92 perfectly.

Keep in mind that the OEM M3 Competition Package wheels (incorrectly but commonly referred as "CSL" wheels because they look similar) are cast and not forged. Typically when people refer that they will get OEM "CSL" rims, they actually mean they are getting the M3 Competition Package rims. Only the true OEM M3 CSL wheels are forged...but you cannot order these wheels from BMW unless you own an M3 CSL.

So best bet if you want forged "CSL" wheels is to get MORR Alloy VS7s.

thx for the input guys. so when can i get a set of Morr ones from in the UK, u americans get way too many products....!!! the thought of getting a set sent over worries me, im a paranoid guy... specially if it turns up damaged etc its just a logistical nightmare and a lot of hassle if u know what i mean?

they look a pretty penny are they more costly than CHs?

Hmmm...you could probably buy BBS CHs cheaper than buying and shipping over a set of MORR VS7s. I didn't realize you were in the UK.

Having said that...the BBS CHs are cast wheels...very good...if not the best cast wheel out there...but still cast nonetheless, whereas the MORR VS7s will be forged...

There is a bit of a weight difference as well...the BBS CHs rears weigh about 26 lbs and the VS7s rear weigh 20 lbs.

last i checked there were only two readily available .. m3 offset at 19x10+20 which requires negative camber and rolled fenders.. and then 19x9.5+40 which will require spacers if you want it to look right

someone will say "they will make any offset you want" so note i said "readily available" because i tried asking around and then gave up.

as for the vs7.. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=52233
have fun

Group buy #3 pricing @ $2,749 for a set VS7s with the standard silver colour. Extra if you want a custom colour finish. Regular retail pricing will be $3,250+ for standard silver.

Pics of the wheels:

Here are your choice of custom colours (the standard finish is the lightest shade of silver):
