BMW winter wheel/tire package

I've been investigating a winter wheel/tire package for my car.

A dealer in a neighboring state has offered me a great price on p/n 36-11-2-298-928.

Has anyone got more details they can share? This is a -1 package, something I explicitly asked for without center caps or bolts. I'd love to know what the wheels look like and, especially, which winter RFTs are in the package.

Thanks for any pointers you can share.

The only info I can find is that they are 17" and called style 413. Interestingly, even the BMW F30 brochure doesn't even have a photo of it.

And this:

And then this as a full set: part numbers are different though, so who knows if the two different tires listed are accurate.

The snow tires are Pirelli Sottozero II RFT, 225/45 x 17, mounted on V-spoke Style 413 alloys. This set will fit the 335i. There is also a 18" set.

The winter wheel/tire package from Tire Rack worked great on my E90 335i and plan to use it for the new F30 this winter (for those rare days when the car comes out of the garage and sees snow).

Well, that's what Tire Rack told me. The could have told me "no" and I woulda bought another $1700 worth of wheels/tires and put the E90 set in Roundel "for sale" section. But Tire Rack says the 225/45/17's I bought last year for my old 2009 E90 335i will fit the new 2013 F30 335i. I guess I'll find out for sure in early December.

No. The wheels and tires in this package are 225/50R17, a minus one sizing for F30s with 18" wheels. I believe you are correct about the model of tire on the wheels.

They'll fit, probably. But this is NOT a valid -1 sizing. In fact, your speedometer will read 4% slow. The standing height of the F30's standard 225/45R18 size is 25.972441".

The standing height of a 225/45R17 size is 24.972441", or 4.4% less.

The standing height of a 225/50R17 size (the correct -1 package for an F30 with standard 225/45R18 tires) is 25.858268" or a very small difference of .44% less.

The formula, BTW, to calculate the correct standing height is:

Standing height = ( ( (width x decimal aspect ratio) / 25.4) * 2 ) + inside diameter of tire

Yes, you are correct. I just received a set of winter wheels (style 413) with the Pirelli Sottozero II 225/50R17" tires (H rated). I was told by a M3 owner that these Pirelli tires ride well, are quiet and perform well in winter conditions.

Interested on the price as well. I was just quoted about 1600 from tire rack for a set of winter tires, wheels, and tpms. Curious as to what it would be from the dealership. Also, does anyone have the wheel size for the f30? 328 specifically?
