Scratch repair near Oakland?

There's a deep scratch on my rear bumper, anyone know where I could fix it and how much I should expect to pay for it? Thx.

if its a deep scratch, you're probably going to have to get it repainted

Yeah, it looks pretty bad and I have been quoted $800 to repaint the whole bumper. It bothers me but not at $800. I might just touch it up and go from there, I kinda suspect I may get more dings from street parking.

Yeah gonna try that and use a small brush to apply many layers. Doubt I'll wet sand and polish though, wet sanding sounds scary to me.

$800 is wayyy to high. Average should be around $550. I've had mine done 2x @ Mustcat auto body in South SF. Small shop which does work for many dealers in the area. Cash is king. Joey is a really nice, honest guy. If you call, tell hiim you saw this on BMW e90 site to get best quote.

Rock debris falling from trucks or flying rock debris while parked or reversed is all I gotta say.

Ouch I suggest wet sanding and polishing. There's a guide I've seen where someone wetsanded and polished their fender. I'll link you to it when I find it. I think they started from around 600 or 800 grit that was soaked in a bucket with some dish washing water. Then they worked their way up to 2000 wet. Afterwards they used a 3-step polishing kit. However if you don't have the time for that, I suggest just having some other shops take a look at it or just order some automotive touch up.

I used Paint Doctor for this kind of job on my previous car. the result was really good.
I am not sure if he goes to Oakland.

Did you do the full bumper repaint or the touch up? He seems the most affordable but I was concerned about results since he paints outside rather than indoors. Thx.
