Of course you couldn't hear about the M135i, since no such car exists...in jupiter, fl. Sorry but that's what you indicated as your location.

If you live in the USA it won't be available ever. It's another one of those Euro cars we won't see. Sounds like a great car but BMW in it's infatuate wisdom says it won't sell here. I think they are so wrong.

It's because it's a hatch. I guess they figure the GTI has the hot hatch market cornered and the new Focus ST will pick up any scraps so they won't bother. I'm not completely upset though because I still think BMW are sullying the M badge by putting it on non-M cars.

Do you think we could get the community to try to get BMW to bring the M135I here?

Audi guys were able to convince Audi for the TTRS. Just a thought

Maybe it's worth a try. Call up Roundel and have them include the question of the month in the next edition: 'would you buy a M135i hatch if offered in the US?'. Then let them share the results with BMW NA.

Or go through social media. Audi did the TT RS campaign through Facebook. They not only brought the TT RS to the US, they gave it extra HP compared to rest of the world (360HP vs 340HP). In fact, that prompted the subsequent release of a limited edition TT RS in Europe, called the TT RS Plus, which too has 360HP. If I were a betting man, I can see BMW selling more ///M 135i hatches here than Audi selling TT RSs.

Suggestion: start a poll for US boarders in a separate thread:

"Would you buy an M135i hatch if offered in the US at a competitive price* ?"
* ± 75% of the price of the 1M (as in Europe)
  • very likely - seriously interested
  • maybe - might consider that
  • (rather) unlikely - not interested

Not a problem. If the European crisis deepens further, they will start shipping ALL THEIR cars over here.

Hellooooo M3 GTS!!!!!!!

Yes, thank you, I am aware that this is no longer in production but I will take any excuse to post that image.

ANY EXCUSE.
