BMW F30 328i Eisenmann Race Exhaust

BMW F30 328i Eisenmann Race Exhaust

I just wanted to know what is the worst that could happen if i instal it on my bmw? Warranty issue and complication. New bmw owner please don't be rude.
I know that chipping your car will void the warranty but is it the same for an exhaust ? Thanks And what is the difference between street and Race?

Exhaust and intakes are no big deal. If your window switch dies or NAV stops working or AC breaks you'll still be covered under warranty.

Piggybacks are a different story since they mess with your engines ECU.

The race is louder.

actually, an intake IS a big deal. If it truly is doing its job (questionable claim here)....it can lead to lean conditions on a turbo motor with no tune. Now, the BMW ECU should be able to compensate and add more fuel but if not, you'll get early detonation (pinging) which can cause premature wear or engine failure.

On other turbo four's (Subaru's for example), it's not recommended to add an intake without also doing a tune at the same time.

From what I have heard from a couple of BMW tuners, the stock intake is not bad at all in terms of being restrictive.

BMW's ECU will make appropriate changes, plus it has knock control built in. But I think he was asking how those parts would effect his warranty.

That's right, in my Evo I had it custom dyno flashed with the intake and all my other parts.

every modern car has knock sensors. swapping an intake could be a detriment to one's warranty, moreso than the CBE is.
