Chassis warning popped up
Today I was driving very moderately and decided to pull into a store to pick something up. When parking a chassis warning indication popped up and said to drive with caution and to take immediately to the dealer. I forgot to take a picture. I let the car sit for a while and started her back up with no faults. Drove home and couldnt replicate the problem.
What should I do? I've always felt there's been a problem with noise coming from the front left M-adaptive suspension and the steering feels way too loosie goosy. Maybe this could be the issue? Should I take her in or wait for this to happen again. Thanks in advance community. 2012 BMW 335i sport MG M-adaptive suspension Sport tranny with pad shifts Run flats SA sept build w/2000 miles on the clock. |

I've been getting this intermittently on my 335i too.
Dealer diagnosed it down to a vehicle dynamics initialisation fault. Got to do with the m-adaptive suspension. On my car it usually only happens when the DEC is out of comfort. Either in sport, sport+ or even Eco-pro. The first two times they performed a complete re-initialisation but after a day or two the problem would recur. So I'm now due for some sensor replacement. Don't know which exactly as I'm waiting on a loaner from BMW before I take it in. |

Happened to me today on my brand new 1 day old F10 530d. I have the Adaptive Drive with Variable Damper Control. Did you ever find out what it was?

Just got my car back today and the tech said they replaced the front right DSC pulse generator sensor to fix the issue. Don't know why the dsc triggers the chassis warning though.
Anyway drove around pretty hard for almost 120kms and as yet the warning hasn't recurred. Cheers! |

I have had this happen twice in my 435i.
And both times it was the first time driving the car after installing/reinstalling JB4. And both times the fix was to just restart the car and its never happened again. |
