Question 30d vs 40d - clutch, transmission & cooler differences?

I'm wondering if there are any clutch, transmission or cooler differences between 30d and 40d 2011 models (N57, 8 speed automatic). Reason I ask is, that my car came with underpowered map out of BMW having only 211 of the 245bhp it should have. Unlocking is almost as expensive as ECU tuning so I though I would go with the second. The power should be somewhere between 280-300bhp so I wanted to know if it would be a good idea to change anything before doing the tune.

Thanks.
