Tire and Wheel Offset Help - Chime in If you have any experience

I am considering a set of VOLK G12s
19x9.5 +25
19x10.5 +20

My car is completely stock. I would prefer to run stock size Super Sports in 245/35/19 front and 265/35/19 rear. I don't want rubbing and I'm concerned that while technically, the rim size is in the range that is acceptable for this tire sizes, that they will look goofy, stretched and no sidewall rim protection.

The next logical tires are 265/30/19 front and 295/30/19 rear so I can keep as close as possible to correct diameter.

Anyone have any experience with these tire sizes and these offsets?

I know a lot of guys go to 285/35/19s but the 1M is not a high revving car and you are shortening the rev range which I don't want to do since my car is a daily driver. I am also aware that the bigger tires are slightly heavier but the Volk G12 is lighter than stock so this should offset the tire weight gain almost perfectly. The main concern is driveability and rubbing. If you have any real world experience with 1M, please share your experience.

I run 9x19 and 10x19 with an extra 6mm of offset (25 mm and 19 mm respectively). The Hoosier Racing Tires that I run are 265/35-19 up front and 315/35-19 in the rear. there is slight rubbing in the front and no rubbing in the rear. I set the car to a stock ride height but run the KW V3 struts and shocks, but with OEM springs. I hope that helps.

Thank you Matt. I found some wheels I really like and have decided to go 18" instead. The car already comes with 19s and would like to go the 18" route with lighter wheels and wider tires. These are hub centric and use factory center caps.

These in 18x9.5 et 22 front and 18x10.5 et 25 rear.

I would love to go with stock 18 inch sizes I have been told they will be stretched in the rear so looking at:

265/35/18 front and 285/35/18 rear - Michelin Super Sports. Do you have any thoughts on this setup?

Thanks Metak! I have been agonizing for a year on what wheels to get. The problem is stock wheels are beautiful. Love RGRs, LMs but too expensive and I want to go 18" and see how the 1M handles and rides on wider, slightly lighter rubber. Also roads are really bad here in San Diego and I'm dodging potholes all day.

These are special order only and I'll have to wait, like many of us did for the 1M but in the end, these are not as common as the TE37s, G2s, etc.

Anyway, I appreciate the "like!" Sad to see you sold your 1M but glad you're still around!

By the numbers I believe you should be fine. I gambled on putting the 315 in the back of my car from a friend who had run 18" wheels with the 315s on his 1M w/out any clearance issues.

Cool, I was considering 295/35/18 rear but the don't make that size in supersports plus they start getting heavy so I'll probably go with 285/35/18 rear. PS2s come in 295/35/18 rear but very expensive and last less.
