Exclamation Question re GPS / idrive screen

All this features from gps screen that you can adjust the car trasmision and all that good stuff will be avilable in manual or it have to be m-dct?

Don't think there are any transmission characteristics that can be adjusted on the manual? Throttle response, dampers, steering assist -- yes.

im talking about all the stuff that were talked about int he reviews etc... we don't know anything else to talk about

If you have iDrive with the MDrive option then you've got control over the M-Servotronic steering and you can select the Sport Plus mode for the power engine response characteristics. BMW Suggest the Sport Plus mode is only available from the Mdrive Menu in iDrive.

Everything else I think you can select just using the Power, EDC and DSC buttons by the gear knob.

One thing though. If you dont choose the Mdrive option, does that mean you dont get the Mdrive button the steering wheel. I wonder what they replace it with ... if anything?

Very well explained. It makes a change for this site.

I think the M button will still be there, it just won't do anything.
