Smile F30 Accessories

Hi all,

I have replied a couple of times to topics but my first new thread!

With the family car on order due to arrive in a month or so I thought I would try to source some geniune BMW accessories if I can (at non dealer prices!?)

Interested in everyone's thoughts/places to buy that can ship to Oz for the following:

- Fitted Luggage Compartment Mat or Tray? (first baby on the way in Feb '13)I have only seen two colours, red for Sportline and beige for Modern; thinking the beige would suit a black car better?

- Loading Sill Protective Mat (avoid pram and other scratches!)

- M Performance Pedals and Footrest. Was quoted from the dealer $550 to purchase and install

- Blue MSport Key Fob Key Cases

Other things I am wanting to do at various stages for anyone's interest:

- Really like the sound online of the magnaflow exhaust but would prefer to hear it in real life compared to standard. Might be hard in Perth! The M performance exhaust may be the second choice as there may be more a possibility in hearing it in real life in Perth?

- Tinting and Opticoat (will certainly do on car's arrival)

- Some sort of tune?

Cheers

i looked at the loading sill mat and gave it a miss due to price. After receiving the car, i purchased some felt and cut the material to size in the boot. cost me $50.

Tune im still waiting

Tint was done within the first week. Remember that your radio antenna is on the rear windscreen and the tint shop needs to be aware of that (simple metal sheet)

Hi NK80,

This website was posted on the UK forum, not sure if they ship to Aus, but you might be able to get someone to forward them to you if they don't?

http://www.salesafter.eu/index.php?c...sting_count=96

I'm waiting on an M-Sport 328i delivery to Perth as well, similar spec to yours except no sunroof or adaptive and in EBII. I was told my build commenced 1st Jan so I'm hoping for a late Feb / Early Mar delivery - fingers crossed!

Waiting to pay off Christmas debt, then gonna start modding with M Sport pedals and mats.

Then will start looking for exhaust. Any recommendations?

Congratulations on the imminent arrivals!

Dec production start to Jan delivery is good going, I hope I get mine as quick!

I contacted the parts website, they don't ship here, only to the EU. I might get a few bits and pieces shipped via my folks back home at some stage.

Post some pix of the car when it arrives, I'll look out for you around Perth!

Shakkas the exhausts I have heard are the ones on the exhaust thread from the states.. Magnaflow sounds the quietest which is what I would prefer.

Where can we get the pedals/footrest from apart from dealer? I've been trying to find some aftermarket ones but they're all for LHD

The euro website in above link has the pedals but I didn't clarify if rhd yet. I will wait for their shipping question response and go from there.

The key fob I think is about 24 euro from that website.

The boot liner is fantastic if, like me, you go to the beach often and hate sand on the boot carpet.
The "MEDIA" cradle is also a great accessory (i have an iPhone)
Rubber floor mats are still not available here is Australia as far as i know.

20% Carbon film tint + opticoat

Happy to quote anyone on genuine BMW accessories that are needed.

BMR Autowerkes mainly sells performance products but we do have access to the entire catalogue of genuine parts from BMW. If you send me a partnumber that helps, else I will try and do the legwork for you.

As for the footrest, I am unaware of a RHD compatible footrest, anyone got info for this?

Cheers,
Stuart @ BMR

realoem still doesn't list the footrest for RHD vehicles... for LHD it lists 51472232279 as the footrest but has omitted this when RHD is selected so I guess still nothing?

CF Trim - $TBA... but it'll be a fair bit. A quality vinyl wrap from someone like Carbon Demon would be a good alternative.

M Performance floor mats - $264 inc GST ex delivery.
