I have 19x9's on order for the fronts, dont think I would want to go much wider than that, but can probably be done with correct offset. Tire would be 245/35/19 I would think.

I don't remember for sure, but check out Dinan's E90, I kinda remember wide rims or tires in the front...

BUT

JuDeC is past he's teen age, uses his brain, reads stuff on the net, gathers and shares experience and knowledge and knows sometimes bigger is not better...

So what, do U have some grip issues? are your tires too thin? have U asked some road course tracking guys about it?

I'll look into that for sure...

Im trying to do something like this E46 M3:

Its got BBS CHs in 19x10 both front and rear ..... but Im trying to see if I can get away with the 19x9.5s insted as there is NO WAY the 10" +20 would ever fit on a E90 front.

yepp, U're probably right. Sorry, my mistake. I thought U need more grip while driving, that's why I asked my stupid question.

Now, especially when looking at the picture U posted, I know finally - U need more grip while standing still

U should have told at the beginnig

Go with 10'', and 12" rear, try to fit it somehow. Why do U care for rubbing, no issue while standing

9.5 is too aggressive for an E90 IMO

I already have a set of Works on order with 9.5" Front and 11" Rear .... They are going to be my "Show" set up. My main point of this thread was to see what the min size spacer I would need to run the BBS CHs in 19x9.5 ET40 on the front ... I was thinking 10mm ... but im not sure of the clearances to the front suspension. The BBS CHs would be my daily set up.

Im actually surprised how there are not many people on this forum that are in to the "Euro" look and fitment. To me the #1 most important mod for the looks of your car is what wheels yous choose and their fitment on the car. I know a lot of people are not willing to take the time to "push" the standard in fear of rubbing.

I don't know, IMHO, the extreme pushed out look is silly and borders on negatively affecting the stress points on the hubs. When I see VW's and some Audi's like that I wonder how old the drivers are. Kinda reminds me of lowriders. Absolutely no offense intended to M3This, I just may be too freakin' old to be in with the "in" thing.

I never considered if I was staying true to the Euro bible when buying my rims, in fact, some consider what I did as sacrilege, I shouldn't be posting, flame suit on order...

No I understand where your coming from ... Im not all about the EXTREAM poke and stretch ... I agree that looks like a low rider .... Im more abotu fitment like this:

What I call "Hella Flush"

Even my old evo was aggressive fitmet ... the Enkie set up was 100% functional too as the front was pushed out more to help increase turn in and actually help the car rotate. (Enkei Set Up was 18x9.5 +15 F and 18x9.5 +27 Rear with 265/35/18 all around) You will notice the front wheels actually stick out past the fenders but with the neg 3 degrees of camber there was never any rubbing.
