Welcome lights available through Nav Update?

Does anyone know if the "Welcome Light" in the vehicle settings menu is available through a nav update? or does something specific have to be installed on the vehicle? just wondering.

Good question. Perhaps a late model addition. My 4/07 build has it. I assume you'd need i-drive.
