Xenon retrofit Guinea Pig donation!
There hasn't been much progress in the xenon retrofit front, so I'd like to stir it up a bit, and make it enticing to these that are able to do it. Would love it if people interested in halogen to xenon would join (any amount).
Basically, I'd like to pledge $50 via paypal to the first person to get a working halogen to xenon retrofit, and post a DIY. Anyone is welcome to join. 1) $50 - newbmwuser 2) $10 - Adceleratus 3) $50 - luvbirds22 4) $55 - normsbimmer 5) $0.01 - Tra08R 6) $0.01 - ScarecrowBoat 7) $31 (£20) - also1412 Total: $196.02 up for grabs Good luck guys Edit: we need a way to make sure people keep their word, any suggestions?

Had it quoted from these guys as $315 complete for the F30. Then you have to fit which is no small exercise but I have reviewed it all and looks like not too much of a challenge for anyone reasonable to good capability with tools. |

Me neither, mainly because mine is a lease car. I am trying to sort out a decent HID replacement package at a reasonable cost
- DRL's, Low Beam, High Beam. There is allot of variation in quality and to do all lights is an expensive solution. |

Rather than tinker with the innards of your headlights, you're better off waiting for a company like depo to release complete aftermarket headlight assemblies. They had very good projector setups for the e46 and e90. Chances are they will be developing something for the f30.
Going OEM is nice, but in this case I don't think its practical.

http://www.lightwerkz.net/ This was the outcome of my 04 STi - OEM Quality, Custom Hybrid design, Lots of color, and a razor sharp cutoff with as much width as a S2000 projector (best single xenon projector).

Hi there, I just bought my BMW F30 320d which i am currently waiting to arrive, i was origianlly going for one without xenons and do the retrofit but ended up finding one with xenons.
I do alot of retrofit wiring and coding in the UK for the E series cars but have not started yet with the F series, if there is anyone in the UK who is willing to meet in London i could try to wire them in and code them up and at the same time & do a DIY for everyone else. If anyone is intrested PM me. Thanks, Don |

who on here is willing to experiment along with me??? i have been able to light up the xenons till now without any coding. i didnt keep the xenons on for long time so i think the reason why no errors came up or need for coding was required.the biggest problem on hand is wiring changes for angel eyes and turn indicator.anyone who wants to know the wiring for xenons can ask me .all of you please try to find out which pin will light up the angel lights and turn indicator
