Black grills on Jet Black (668) - Too much?

I got the M-Perf gloss black grills yesterday and installed them on my Jet Black sportline. Not sure if I'm as big of a fan as I thought I would be.

Car does look ominous now, jut not sure it's not too much

Opinions?

Personally think it looks fine if you're going for an aggressive sporty look, especially if you plan on doing any further work like spoiler lowering or rims.

I have the same doubt on my jet black, maybe others mods before the grills.

i think its a little too much, but im obviously the minority. It'll look good with backed out whiskers, black rims and maybe a lip or a body kit? right now, it looks here nor there.

I'd either go all out or make it balanced.

But at the end of the day, its your car, so do as you please

I think it works. At first I thought it might look unbalanced, but the wiskers and the lights work very well against black. The grill's def not needed to pop.

I felt the exact same way, but if you get blacked out whiskers and side markers like i did, the car looks bad ass!

I use to like the all black Nazgul look, but then I realized it hid some of the definition of the car. This is why I really like white, since it makes the gaping intake bits pop.

Thumbs up

Have done the same with my Saphir Schwarz. Also made my mirror lights black as well as the BMW emblem on the hood.
And changed the wheels from stock to 19" Titanium Grey from Kelleners Sport / Germany.

Yeah I'm thinking of having my sport OEM rims painted custom, darken up the two tone part - so instead of silver and grey, silver and black
